Prayer: A Marriage Prayer
Lord Jesus, You turned water into wine at Cana — turn our routines back into celebration. Bless my spouse today: their body, their work, their secret worries. Teach me to apologize quickly and thank specifically. Where we repeat the same fight, interrupt us with grace. Keep us too intertwined with You to unravel. Mary and Joseph, you loved each other through an unplanned pregnancy and a refugee flight: hold our marriage steady through everything ordinary and unordinary. Amen.

A prayer for a marriage seeking faithfulness and peace
Pray for your marriage by asking for patience, truthful communication, forgiveness, tenderness and the grace to protect one another's dignity. If there is abuse, coercion or danger, safety and qualified help come first; prayer never requires someone to remain in harm.
This page supports married couples and people praying for them without reducing marriage to a promise of constant ease. It keeps the prayer accessible and points toward honest conversation, pastoral care and professional counseling when those are needed.
One practice that outperforms most advice
Spouses who pray together — even awkwardly, even badly, even one memorized Hail Mary at night — build a third strand into the cord (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Start tonight: sixty seconds, hand in hand, out loud. Let it be clumsy. Cana started with water.
